Richard Gere auctions off classic guitars, nets nearly $1 million

We would sell our guitar, but without it we can’t play Rock Band for Playstation. Richard Gere, however, has a few to go around.

The “Pretty Woman” actor sold more than 100 guitars at a Christie’s auction on Tuesday (Oct. 12) and netted $936,438. Gere will donate the process from the auction to various charities.
